Why Spay/Neuter?

Spay and neuter helps solve pet overpopulation. Millions of healthy, adoptable pets are destroyed each year for lack of homes

A spayed or neutered animal will live a longer, healthier life with decreased risk of developing ovarian, uterine or breast cancer (females) and prostate cancer or testicular tumors (males).

A spayed or neutered animal is better behaved and less aggressive.

Spay and neuter will reduce the desire to roam, fight, and "mark" territory.

Introducing Wally's Friends™

Wally’s Friends is the FIRST of its kind in the Chattanooga area! The stand alone clinic is devoted solely to high quality, high volume, low-cost spay/neuter for dogs and cats. High volume sterilization must be compulsory as a community response to pet overpopulation! Wally's Friends™ now serves Chattanooga, Hamilton County and the surrounding rural counties, including Georgia and Alabama.

Wally's Friends™ is a 501 (C)(3) organization; all donations are tax deductible to the extent the law allows.

Meet Dr. Winn!

We are pleased to welcome Dr. Adam Winn to our staff!

A Nashville native, Dr. Winn received both his Bachelor of Science and his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degrees from the University of Tennessee. He met his wife Sarah (who is currently in private veterinary practice) at veterinary school. They are the proud parents of three small children and are looking forward to raising their family, which also includes three cats and a dog, in Chattanooga !
